“ On my return from Asia, I was also thrilled to find this guy waiting to greet me on the front lawn — love the new Android KitKat statue and can’t wait to release the next version of the platform that is as sweet as the candy bar that’s one of our team’s favorites 🙂 “
Android – Kit Kat
Cram: You won’t believe what I popped out from my G+ notifications!!
Pram : Don’t tell me you found a pic of your girl with another guy in that party, because I already know it.
Cram: *slaps on shoulder* No Mr.Dork. Its something more cool and by the way, I already know about it.
Pram: Oh no, not another set of crazy acts from Miley! Hasn’t she already got the enough attention she wanted?
Cram: Okay I shall not let you guess any further. Android’s next version name has released and you won’t believe what they have named it after!
Pram: Yes, it must the Key lime Pie. I have been hearing about it.
Cram: No Mr.Smart, You have been lagging behind. They have named it as Android Kit-Kat 🙂
Pram: Woah, that is news to me. I thought it was going to be named after that dessert? and wouldn’t they get into copyrights issue?
Cram: Well, I doubt it. Cuz the official page seems to have included the Nestle company’s product along with their Android Kit-Kat statue. So I presume they have might have struck a deal regarding this.
*Pram Checks his mobile for information*
Pram: If I am not wrong, I heard there was a conference that was held at Barcelona few months back where the lead companies, Google and Nestle, met at a secret event. But I didn’t realise it would be relating to the next version.
Cram: Yes, must have been a confidential one. But I am surprised it isn’t version 5 but still version 4.4. I wonder why they have not leaped to the bigger step.
Pram: I am sure they have something really interesting back there to surprise us. Bloggers have been guessing that all the keyword searches of the Nestle’s product is going to produce technical blogs and fewer results of the actual chocolate product. I do not know where this will head.
Cram: Oh they might be right, but I don’t know who is going to benefit out of this. But rationally, its the android company that is going to benefit so there should have been some compensation that might have been settled with the Nestle company.
Pram: I would bet on it. True. Now talking about the features it might include, I read in a technical blog that it might not be any different from the latest Jelly Bean version and it is rumoured they are trying out new colors for their default apps. The dialer app is going to have a prominent white color.
Cram : Oh, then white is sure to make it look even more brighter. Then I guess its the look and feel that is going to be changed in the next version.
Pram: And not to forget the other improvements they are planning to implement. Such as the Wireless Display that will provide video outputs on your television through the Manage Mobile Plan feature.
Cram: Hold on! Don’t we already have that feature in 4.3?
Pram: Yes, It is already been added to the Jelly Bean version. Now, allow me to fill you with the other features.
Cram: Yes buddy, I’m all ears !!
Pram: Okay good. So the next rumoured feature is about the Image editing options which are the centre focus and Tilt-Shift that comes with a great addition. The users can use it in any desirable size with the adjustable slide.
Cram:That is a good news, now I can instantly edit all my images and print with the native printing option !!
Pram: Dude, How did you know about the feature ?
Cram: Well Mr.Smart, I have not been lagging behind. I have been reading about the expected Features. Android is planning to introduce the native printing in its own platform so the users can directly print its files by just clicking the right options from their phone.
Pram: Yes, I think the PCs are not going to be of any use to me now. I can print any file I want from my Android phone and also with the other future apps such as the Drive and Quick Office I can create Docs, PDF and PPTs whenever I want.
Cram: Uff, thats a lot to take in a day. Android guys have been doing a lot than we expected them to. Now can’t wait to review them in my Nexus 4.
Cram: Now back to my girl friend’s pic you saw the other day?
