Ranking as the number one social media channel with about 1.59 billion users , it’s better to customise your  Facebook Business page to reap your maximum benefits from such a big audience. The idea is to present your business in the way the audience will want, in order to keep them engaged as well.

    Here are some tips on how to customise your Facebook Business page

     

    1. Profile picture & Cover picture

    The profile picture of your page is the one that represents your business online. It is wise to use your Company logo as the profile picture. Most companies use their logo or any of their signature products as their profile picture. Every activity of your page on Facebook will be marked by your profile picture only. Using the logo here will also help you establish brand awareness.

    Use your best photos as your Cover picture. It can be pictures of your products or whatever you want your customers to see as your business. Use this window to showcase the best of your business.

     

    1. ‘About’ Section

    Describe to your viewers all about your business in this section of your page. You can include a description of what exactly is your business, contact details, and also a map showing the location of your business in this section. You can give an Overview of your business and also fill in the specific details such as a long and short description of your business, working hours, Mission and various contact details that your customers will be interested in your business.

     

    1. Call to action buttons

    Help your customers to take the desired actions at ease. Every business will need a different kind of an action to be performed by the viewers. It can be ‘Contact Us, Shop Now, Book Now’ etc. Choose the appropriate call to action buttons that will actually lead to conversions for your business. As soon as someone visits your page, they should know what you need them to do. They should be able to quickly take any kind of action that your business requires. This is one of the most important ways by which you can customise your Facebook business page to suit your type of business.

     

    1. Tabs

    Tabs are the different sections of your business page. Facebook has the details segregated under different tabs for convenient navigation of the users. Like the call to action buttons, choose the suitable tabs for your business page. Even though there are only four tabs visible under your cover picture, the rest can be seen by clicking the MORE tab.Plan what needs to be shown to your audience and put them on the relevant tabs.

     

    1.    Get reviews

    You can get reviews for your business page from your viewers. If your business is categorised under Local business with the correct address you will automatically get a REVIEW BUTTON. Getting reviews and ratings from your customers has become very important for your business now making it eligible to appear in the News Feed. It will also help your customers get an idea of how good your business is.
